The Story

Raido House is a home for youth located in Ramsay and operated by the Calgary John Howard Society. Raido House helps youth facing homelessness or coming out of involvement in the justice system by providing them with wrap-around supports. As neighbours of Raido in Ramsay we see an opportunity to support the important work of the Raido House staff by throwing a Block Party that the Youth will feel welcome and can raise funds through a silent auction and 50/50 raffle.

  • In 2019 it started with a small house concert and we raised $1,000

  • In 2023 we threw a block party and helped raise over $12,000

  • In 2024 with your contribution who knows the kind of impact we might have together!

Major Donation Impact

From now through August 31 Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by Altalink is matching donations up to 50%. We’re throwing a block party to maximize those extra donation dollars and support the youth of Raido House. Start the party early and donate today!
